Our Programs

Our Programs

Our program provides opportunities for the student to achieve socialization skills, to become aware of the broader community, to experiment with various role models and to be exposed to religious understandings with a Lutheran perspective, thus enhancing the child’s self concept. Jack and Jill Preschool encourages parental

involvement as an integral part of the program, through participation, information, communication and support.

Study after study shows that the sooner a child begins

learning, the better he or she does down the road."

Three Year Old Preschool

Children who attend the three year old class must be three on or before Sept.

Jack and Jill offers a morning program on Thursday and Fridays. As your child’s first school experience, preschool is an important foundation for future educational experiences. In preschool, kids learn important social skills like how to share and take turns, cooperate with others, and be independent, while being exposed to pre-math and pre-reading skills such as numbers, letters, and shapes.

Pre-kindergarten Class

Children who attend the pre-kindergarten class must be four on or before Sept.

The four year old Pre-kindergarten program is a great place to begin your child's educational journey. It is a two and a half hour program that meets three days a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, either in the morning or the afternoon. Your child will be immersed in a nurturing environment that will provide developmentally-appropriate activities using best practices in Early Childhood Education. Learning takes place in full and small group instruction, along with intentional active-learning activities. Your child will gain the tools to ready themselves for the educational years to come.
